Café Style Shutters — European Elegance in Cheltenham
Café style shutters bring a touch of continental charm to Cheltenham homes. Covering only the lower portion of your window, they provide perfect privacy at street level while allowing natural light to flood in from above. It's the ideal balance of style, privacy, and light — and one of our most popular choices among Cheltenham homeowners.
Named after the charming shuttered cafés found across France, Italy, and Spain, café style shutters create an inviting, airy atmosphere that's particularly effective in ground-floor rooms, kitchens, and dining areas — perfect for homes along Cheltenham's tree-lined streets and the Suffolks.
Why Choose Café Style Shutters?
- Perfect privacy — shield your room from passers-by while keeping the upper window completely open
- Maximum light — the upper portion of the window remains uncovered, flooding the room with daylight
- Affordable elegance — covering half the window means café style shutters are more budget-friendly
- Charming aesthetic — the continental café look adds character and warmth to any room
- Ideal for ground floors — particularly effective on street-facing windows in Cheltenham's terrace homes
- Future-proof — can be upgraded to full height or tier on tier at a later date
Where to Use Café Style Shutters
